The Basset Arms
The Basset Arms is an established pub serving both the local community and visitors to Portreath. We're a few yards from the beach, but have good parking (ask for a free parking ticket at the bar) and lots of space.
You can eat in the pub itself, in our restaurant or in the conservatory.
Come in for a coffee, afternoon tea, lunch or an evening meal. We serve traditional pub food - sandwiches, baked potatoes, fish or chicken and chips - but also specials such as crab, fish stew and mussels. On Sundays there is as choice of three different roast meat meals (e.g. pork, lamb or beef), with a vegetarian option for non-meat eaters and a choice of standard (i.e. large!) or smaller portions.
Join the locals for a glass of beer or wine at lunchtime or in the evening.
